Direct VS Indirect Language Compare the level of directness that is accepted and expected in daily communications between East and West 5. Explaining Problems to Your Client Learn ways to keep clients informed especially when problems occur 6. Saying No to Someone Important Look at phrases and sentences that allow us to maintain relationship while letting them down gently 7. General VS Specific Language Add specifics to the sentences to make them more professional 8. E-mail Consulting Look at real e-mails that participants have written and re-write them |
